Over 2,000 Kwara State civil servants are writing their 2025 promotion examination.
The two days computer-based test (CBT) started yesterday and ends today.
The test, the first of its kind in the state, is being conducted by the Civil Service Commission, Chairperson of the agency, Hajia Habibat Yusuf, has said.

She spoke to reporters on the sidelines of the examination in Ilorin.
Yusuf said Kwara had joined the league of other states conducting their civil servants promotion exams in the country.
“I am happy the state has joined other states in conducting CBT exams for our civil servants. We have plans in the pipeline to establish a CBT centre in the state.
“We have discussed with the head of service (HoS) and machinery will be put in place to have CBT centre, which we can use and also rent to other organisations such as JAMB, NECO, WAEC and others. The centre will serve as a profit making one,” she said.
She said result of the two days promotion exam will be released immediately, adding that oral interview comes up next Monday.
