A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi State, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has called on party leaders to embrace inclusivity by welcoming back former members willing to return, stressing that unity is key to rebuilding the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Akpoti-Uduaghan made the call at the party’s State Executive Committee meeting held on Saturday in Lokoja, according to a statement issued by her media office in Abuja.
“I plead with our party executives to open the doors wide for those who wish to return. The strength of our party lies in our unity, and this is the time to bring everyone back home,” she said.
The senator also charged party members to key into the ongoing membership e-registration exercise, describing it as a crucial step toward repositioning the PDP structurally and digitally.
“We must go out and mobilise for the membership e-registration. This is not just an exercise—it is the foundation upon which we rebuild and strengthen our party for the future,” she added.
