He stated that party leaders in Osun West are backing his aspiration, drawing parallels with the unity that secured support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid and the governorship candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).
According to him, adopting a consensus approach for the senatorial ticket would strengthen the party’s chances, noting that he currently enjoys broad support among APC leaders in the zone.
Ogunbiyi said his experience in both the private and public sectors would be an asset to the constituency if elected, highlighting his track record in job creation through his company, which he said has employed over 5,000 people in more than three decades.
He also reaffirmed his support for Oyebamiji’s governorship ambition, expressing optimism about the party’s prospects in the state.
