The Tinubu Mega Group (TMG) has announced an expansive nationwide mobilisation campaign in support of the re-election bid of Bola Tinubu in 2027.

The mass mobilisation signals a major political push ahead of the 2027 general election.

The group said the mobilisation would culminate in its national convention scheduled for May 17, 2026, in Abuja, which it described as a defining moment for consolidating nationwide support for the President.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Monday and signed by its representative, Kennedy Tabuko, TMG disclosed that it is coordinating a large-scale political drive involving over 1,500 affiliated organisations spanning civil society groups, labour unions, professional associations, and grassroots movements.

TMG said the initiative is aimed at strengthening nationwide backing for President Tinubu’s second-term ambition, describing the effort as an “unprecedented national alignment” of supporters across the country.

The group also disclosed that it is undertaking a nationwide endorsement drive and will present 20 million signatures at the convention as a demonstration of support for the President’s second term.

“This is not just mobilisation, this is a movement. This is the convergence of millions of voices across professions, regions, and social classes,” the statement read.

TMG further assured that all activities connected to the mobilisation would be conducted peacefully and in line with democratic principles, while calling on Nigerians to participate in what it described as a “historic show of unity and national direction.”

According to the statement, the build-up to the convention will feature an intensive media and public engagement strategy designed to shape national discourse and galvanise citizens.

“The countdown will not be business as usual, but a coordinated national build-up to position the convention as a defining moment for Nigeria’s political future,” the group stated.

The organisation revealed that it will deploy a mix of traditional and digital media strategies, including daily appearances on television, radio, and newspapers, alongside a coordinated online campaign driven by influencers and content creators.

“The objective is to ensure that the voice of millions of Nigerians resonates in every corner of the country,” the statement added.

Beyond media engagements, TMG outlined plans for grassroots mobilisation, including road walks, market activations, and community rallies across states, aimed at strengthening public participation in the re-election push.
