2027: Support group kicks off phase two ward tour in Ondo LGs

Addressing party members and supporters during the tour, the Director General of the group, Ogbeni Adojutelegan Adesuyi, expressed appreciation for the continued dedication of grassroots members to the party and the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He urged them to remain committed and sustain their support for the President’s Renewed Hope agenda.

Adesuyi explained that the ward tour is aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization, deepening unity within party structures, and encouraging wider participation in the democratic process, particularly through voter registration.

As part of efforts to enhance grassroots engagement, the Director General announced financial support for party activities in the two local governments. He donated ₦1 million to Akoko South East and ₦1.5 million to Akoko South West to assist party structures in mobilizing members and eligible residents to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of future elections.

The Coordinator for Akoko South East, Hon. Muyideen Suleiman, commended the leadership of the support group for bringing the mobilization initiative to the grassroots. He assured that members in the area would intensify efforts to boost voter registration and maintain strong support for the party.

Similarly, the Coordinator for Akoko South West, Comrade Afolabi Emmanuel, reaffirmed the commitment of party members in the local government area to the vision of the support group. He pledged that residents would continue to be mobilized in support of the administration of President Tinubu.

Other party stakeholders present at the event included Hon. Olusola Fredrick, Mr. Adewumi Oladimeji, and the Women Coordinator, Gbadura Esther. In their separate remarks, they encouraged members and residents to remain supportive of the policies and programmes of President Tinubu and to stay actively engaged in party activities.

The Publicity Secretary of BTO4PBAT27, Folajimi Adewumi Gbenga, noted that the Phase Two ward tour forms part of the group’s broader strategy to consolidate grassroots structures, promote voter awareness, and strengthen support for the administration across the state.

The event drew participation from party leaders, youth groups, women leaders, and other stakeholders who reaffirmed their loyalty and readiness to work collectively toward strengthening the party and advancing the Renewed Hope agenda.

The ward tour is expected to continue in other local government areas in the coming weeks as the group intensifies its grassroots mobilization efforts across Ondo State.
