Hon. Olamide Davies Talabi has declared her intention to contest the Ogun Central Senatorial District seat, pledging to deliver purposeful representation and accelerated development across the district.
Speaking with journalists, Talabi expressed confidence in her capacity to serve, stating that the district stands at a critical point that requires decisive and inclusive leadership.
“It is time to move Ogun Central to the next phase of growth and transformation. I have the experience, I understand the needs of our people, and I am confident in what we can achieve collectively to make our senatorial district a model of progress,” she said.
Talabi underscored her longstanding commitment to public service, describing political engagement as integral to her identity and lifelong mission. She noted that leadership and service have consistently shaped her personal and professional trajectory.

Currently serving as Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in America, Talabi is an indigene of Abeokuta South and a member of the Showunmi family.
