The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) said airstrikes by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) killed more than 30 fighters from the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), and destroyed the group’s logistics base along the Lake Chad waterways near the Kaniram Island axis in northern Borno State.
The military high command, in a statement by the spokesperson for Operation Hadin Kai, Lt.-Col. Sani Uba, said air assets maintained a persistent overhead presence and confirmed the concentration of more than 30 terrorist boats, along with fighters coordinating movement and resupplies.

Also, troops of the Joint Task Force Operation Enduring Peace, on Tuesday evening, killed two dreadful gunmen in a coordinated ambush operation at Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Others escaped into the bush with bullet wounds.
Operation Hadin Kai said target validation and positive identification were conducted, ensuring high targeting accuracy prior to engagement.
