Fifty founders and tech entrepreneurs have received training in Lagos from Techie Impact Summit on AI and access to funding.

It brought together startup founders and business owners for sessions on use of AI tools and how to navigate funding.

Convener, Precious Azuonwu, said the programme is to equip young entrepreneurs with practical knowledge and connections to scale their ventures.

Speakers included Muheez Okunade of Innofy AI, who spoke on building AI-powered systems, and Victor Ogunbiyi of Dawn AI Study, who shared insights from his experience using AI to support neurodivergent learners.

Participants also received access to productivity and AI tools to support their businesses.

The summit was supported by Western Union Foundation to promote skills development and economic inclusion. Organisers said there are plans to expand future editions of the programme.
