African Action Congress (AAC), in collaboration with the Ta ke It Back Movement, has begun what it tagged: “Voter Card Registration”, in selected communities across 21 local government areas of Anambra State.
The exercise kicked off at Idemili North, with the party leadership engaging community stakeholders on the need to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and participate in electoral processes.
Speaking during the campaign, Deputy National Chairperson, AAC, Chioma Ifemeludike, said the exercise was part of the party’s commitment to deepening democratic participation through active civic engagement.
She urged eligible citizens, especially young people, to take advantage of the opportunity to register and become participants in shaping the future of their communities.
Describing PVC as a powerful tool for change, Ifemeludike called on residents to come out in their numbers, get registered and join the AAC ‘’in building the Nigeria we all deserve.’’
She said: “The ‘Take It Back Movement’, in collaboration with African Action Congress, is carrying out a Voters Card Registration Campaign.

“This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to deepen democratic participation and empower citizens through active civic engagement.
“The Permanent Voter Card remains a powerful tool for change, and we urge all eligible citizens, especially young people, to take advantage of this opportunity to register and become active participants in shaping the future of our communities.
“We believe true change begins when the people are counted and their voices are heard. This campaign is not just about registration—it is about awakening civic responsibility and strengthening the collective power of the people.
“We therefore call on residents of Idemili North and its environs to come out in their numbers, get registered and join us in building the Nigeria we all deserve. No PVC, No Vote.”
