Abductors of worshippers at the Evangelical Church of Winning All (ECWA) Church, Omugo, via Oro- Ago in  Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State have demanded for N1 billion  ransom from the community members

The bandits attacked the church during service last Sunday and abducted eight worshippers..

A source said the N1 million offered by the community was turned down by the abductors who insisted that the communities in Oro- Ago axis should contribute the N1billion ransom they demanded.

The Pastor of ECWA Church, Omole Timothy, whose wife was among the abductees, confirmed that the abductors had contacted the Church, demanding N1 billion ransom.

He said the abductors warned them against trying to beat down the amount and time wasting.

Omole said he was allowed to speak briefly with his wife.
