Actress Seilat Adeyemo has announced the passing of her father.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress revealed that her father "fought so hard" before his death, describing the loss as deeply painful.

Adeyemo, known for her roles in films such as 'Damifunre', expressed her emotional devastation, stating that losing a parent is a pain she wouldn't wish on anyone.

"My dad fought so hard, but God loved him more and called him home to rest.

I never imagined I would feel this shattered and broken. Losing a parent is a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone", she wrote.

She appealed to fans and well-wishers for patience, citing that she is not emotionally ready to respond to messages.

"I see all your calls and messages, but I’m not in the right state of mind to respond right now. I will get back when I can. Thank you for all the love.

"The pain runs so deep… losing the one God used to create you", she wrote.

Her fans and colleagues have been offering condolences and messages of support.
