A Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Ibraheem Olarewaju, has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his administration’s giant strides in road infrastructure across the country.
In a statement yesterday, Olarewaju said the administration’s investments in critical highways and strategic transport corridors were already improving connectivity, easing the movement of goods and strengthening economic activities nationwide.
He said the infrastructure drive reflected government’s broader commitment to long-term development, adding that ongoing construction, rehabilitation and completion of key federal road projects were laying a solid foundation for growth and national integration in Nigeria.
Olarewaju highlighted the administration’s intensified investment in critical road infrastructure across the six geopolitical zones, describing it as practical evidence of the government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He listed major projects, including Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway, which he said was expected to unlock new economic opportunities, boost tourism and strengthen coastal connectivity.

“These road projects are not merely construction works; they are economic lifelines that reduce travel time, enhance security, lower transportation costs, generate employment and strengthen national integration,” he said.
The presidential aide added that improved transport infrastructures were already aiding agricultural distribution and easing the movement of goods across regions.
He urged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive, as reforms continue to mature, hoping that Tinubu’s leadership will ultimately deliver prosperity, stability and inclusive development nationwide.
He reaffirmed his commitment to working with the National Assembly to sustain legislative backing for policies and projects that promoted national growth and unity.
