Aiyedatiwa appoints 32 permanent secretaries

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has approved the appointment and confirmation of 32 officers as permanent secretaries, in a move aimed at strengthening administrative structure of government ministries and agencies.

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has approved the appointment and confirmation of 32 officers as permanent secretaries, in a move aimed at strengthening administrative structure of government ministries and agencies.

The approval was conveyed in a statement issued yesterday in Akure by the Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan.

According to the statement, those appointed include Tayo Ogundare, Morayo Bayo-Philip, Adeyemi Sule, Olufunso Tunji-Omoniyi, Olanrewaju Abiodun, Tope Lebile, Stephen Aworere, Omotayo Akeju, Olufemi Moyinolorun, Olakunle Ajibade, Oluwakemi Akinyemi and Bamidele Daisi.

Others are Akinluyi Omotola, Olumide Kinga, Ope Adetoye, Olusiji Olatunji, Oluseyi Odusola, Funke Adelayi, Akindele Ige, Olanrewaju Akarakiri, Abike Ilawole, Abimbola Tofowomo and Kolawole Kayode.

Also confirmed are Peter Akingbade, Ayodeji Ogundare, Adeduro Akinbola, Ibidapo Ojo, Olusegun Orisabinone, Idowu Owolabi, Adeoye Atibioke, Toyin Awotoye and Ayodeji Ayeku.

Governor Aiyedatiwa further approved the confirmation of Olusola Ajayi as Statistician-General and Charles Ojuolape as Auditor-General for Local Governments, subject to clearance by the House of Assembly.

The appointments and confirmations take effect from February 1.

“The swearing-in of the newly appointed officers will be held on a date to be announced later,” the statement said.
