Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has dissolved the boards of parastatals and commissions with immediate effect.

A statement issued yesterday by his Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, said the decision affected key government bodies, including Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), as well as Muslim and Christian Welfare Boards.

Also affected are education secretaries across 18 local government areas of the state.

The statement says chairmen, commissioners, board members and education secretaries are to hand over to the most senior administrative officers in their offices.

Aiyedatiwa thanked the affected officials for their service and contributions to the development of the state during their tenure.

“The chairmen, commissioners, members of the boards and commissions and education secretaries are hereby directed to hand over to the most senior administrative officers in their offices.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa expresses profound appreciation to all affected for their service, dedication and contributions to the development of the state during their tenure,” the statement said.
