Leaders of Alimosho Federal Constituency have declared their readiness to mobilise voters for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, following the successful party registration exercise.
The assurance was given by Hon. Bisi Yusuf during a press conference held in Orisun, Alimosho, and hosted by the Chairman of Agbado-Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Abiodun Ishola Ejigbadero.
The briefing followed the successful completion of a party registration exercise across the constituency and was attended by party leaders, public office holders, grassroots mobilisers, and political stakeholders.
Hon. Yusuf described the registration exercise as the first major assignment undertaken by the constituency leadership since President Tinubu assumed office, explaining that it was designed to foster unity across communities within Alimosho Federal Constituency.
He expressed satisfaction with the outcome, noting that the leadership met and exceeded expectations.
According to him, the exercise recorded 97,528 new registrants, a development he attributed to the visible performance of President Tinubu in governance, infrastructure development, economic reforms, and social intervention programmes.
He said these achievements have helped to reduce political apathy and renew public confidence in the ruling party.
Hon. Yusuf also noted that the activities of local government administrations across Alimosho have transformed many areas into active construction sites, further strengthening residents’ trust in government.
He described President Tinubu’s leadership style as humane, inclusive, and driven by performance.
He commended the unity and coordination among leaders across the constituency, particularly praising the chairmen of the six councils in Alimosho: Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Adunni Akindele of Mosan-Okunola LCDA, Hon. Abiodun Agbaje of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. Abiodun Ishola Ejigbadero of Agbado-Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. Idris Balogun of Egbe-Idimu LCDA, and Hon. Lasisi Akinsanya of Igando-Ikotun LCDA.
He also acknowledged the contributions of the Member of the House of Representatives for Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Ayuba Ganiyu Adele, as well as Lagos State House of Assembly members, Hon. Lukman Orelope and Hon. Kehinde Olaide Joseph, for their legislative support and grassroots engagement.
Hon. Yusuf also appreciated party chairmen across the six local governments and commended leaders and elders, including Hon. Femi Adebanjo, Isah Yusuf, Famuyiwa, Kehinde Olowoopeju, Alhaji Orire, Engr. Lawa, Wole Aina, and Chief Mrs. Afolabi Riskot for their roles in strengthening party structures in the constituency.
Hon. Yusuf emphasised that Alimosho remains united and determined to retain its strategic political relevance.
He reaffirmed that the constituency is fully prepared to stand firmly behind President Tinubu and deliver unprecedented electoral support in the next general elections.
