The Project Director Africa for the 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit and Davdan Peace and Advocacy Foundation, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe has held high-profile meetings at the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union Heads of State and Government.

The gathering in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's capital, allowed him to hold talks with key stakeholders around the African continent ahead of the 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit coming up in Marrakech, Morocco, this June.

The high-profile meetings focused on facilitating new partnerships, enhancing collaboration, and bringing potential investors into a roundtable discussion to explore areas of possible interest across the continent, aiming to drive economic growth and investment opportunities in Africa.

Amb. Amafibe lauded the African Presidents and other key stakeholders for their support for the annual programme over the years, assuring that the 2026 edition will be a larger platform than the previous ones, as the major focus was on funding and promoting trade between members State.

The 2026 edition of the 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit, which was held from 19th to 21st June, Marrakech, Morocco, is being spearheaded by Davdan Peace and Advocacy Foundation and will convene influential voices across governance, enterprise, Institutions, NGOs, peace advocacy, and public and private sectors.

With the theme, “Uniting Africa’s Change Makers for Growth and Impact: A Gate to Sustainable Development,” the summit will feature the conferment of honours on the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa 2026, recognizing outstanding individuals whose contributions continue to shape Africa’s progress in governance, business, innovation, and community development.

It will hold from 19th to 21st June in Marrakech, Morocco.

Amb. Amafibe emphasized that the summit remains one of the continent’s most influential platforms for fostering collaboration, promoting leadership excellence, and driving impactful initiatives.

The 2026 edition is expected to attract high-level delegates from African leaders and government agencies, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and peace advocates from across Africa and beyond.
