Sponsor and ex-footballer Honourable Tajudeen Ajide said the championship was designed to engage young people across the state while helping them appreciate the administration's youth-focused initiatives, including the Nigerian Education Loan Fund.
"This tournament will encourage youth involvement in the electoral process," said Ajide, a former chairman of Surulere Local Government Council.
Chairman of the organising committee, Tajudeen Disu, urged youth clubs across Lagos to participate actively and support the President's Renewed Hope Agenda.
