A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Blessing Agbomhere, has declared his ambition to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Etsako Federal Constituency in Edo State, promising quality and people-oriented representation if elected.

Agbomhere, who is seeking to contest on the platform of APC made his declaration at the Auchi Public Field in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area, in the presence of party leaders, stakeholders and supporters.

A statement issued by the Blessing Support Organisations (BSO) described the declaration as the beginning of a fresh political movement aimed at delivering purposeful leadership and renewed hope for the people of Etsako Federal Constituency.

The support group said Agbomhere’s aspiration is rooted in a vision to address critical needs of the constituency, including infrastructure renewal, economic empowerment, security, educational support and greater access to federal opportunities.

“As a lawyer, communicator, strategist, and passionate patriot, he possesses the experience, intellect, courage, and energy required to provide effective and impactful representation at the National Assembly. His aspiration is driven by a clear vision focused on inclusive development, economic empowerment, infrastructure renewal, security of lives and property, youth and women advancement, educational support, and expanded access to federal opportunities for the people of Etsako,” the statement said.

The group described Agbomhere as a committed progressive and grassroots mobiliser whose track record of loyalty, service and people-centred engagement has earned him broad acceptance across Etsako East, Etsako West and Etsako Central.

According to the organisation, the constituency needs dynamic and responsive leadership capable of understanding the challenges facing the people and pursuing practical solutions.

It stressed that Agbomhere’s entry into the race signals a determination to provide quality representation and restore confidence in leadership at the grassroots.

“This movement is bigger than politics. It is about restoring confidence in leadership, empowering our people, and securing a brighter future for the next generation,” the group added.

The support organisation also called on APC leaders, youths, women groups, market associations, professionals and community leaders across the constituency to rally support for Agbomhere’s aspiration.

Party stalwarts and members of the APC leadership in the state were present at the declaration, as the support group expressed confidence that Agbomhere would emerge victorious and deliver on his promise of effective representation for the people of Etsako Federal Constituency.
