A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo state, Ikponmwosa Clement Aitusi has commended Edo state Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo for procuring and distributing 54 units of heavy-duty construction equipment to the 18 local government councils in the state.
The items which were commissioned by FCT Minister, Nyelsom Wike and handed over to the local government councils include caterpillars/graders, excavators, and rollers.

The equipment was officially handed over to the state chapter of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria on February 23, 2026.
Aitusi said in a statement in Abuja that the equipment will boost rural road construction, drainage rehabilitation, environmental waste disposal, and other community-driven infrastructural development in the local government areas.
