A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bala Maijama’a Wunti, has called for stronger unity within the party after stakeholders in Bauchi State endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term.
Wunti made the appeal during a high-level stakeholders’ meeting in Bauchi aimed at consolidating party cohesion and preparing for the 2027 general elections.
The meeting, led by the Minister of Health, Muhammad Ali Pate, gathered key party leaders, elders, and supporters across the state to strengthen APC’s position.

Represented by Adamu Fanta of the Bala Wunti Movement, Wunti reaffirmed his commitment to the party’s unity and progress. Fanta highlighted the movement’s role in facilitating dialogue and promoting internal cohesion.
Wunti emphasised that his movement will continue working with party leaders to build a united APC in Bauchi and mobilise grassroots support ahead of the 2027 elections.
Supporters of the Bala Wunti Movement pledged continued loyalty to the APC at both state and national levels. At the event, Pate moved the motion endorsing Tinubu for a second term, which was unanimously adopted by stakeholders, signalling collective commitment to the party’s success.
