APC clears aspirants for Bayelsa Assembly race
Bayelsa All Progressives Congress (APC) has cleared scores of aspirants from various constituencies to contest the State House of Assembly primaries following an initial screening process of hundreds of contestants.

Among those cleared yesterday and presented with certificates by the party are aspirants for the Southern Ijaw Constituency 3 seat in the state legislature, Manash Ayibapreye, Dr. Felix Boyle Dimaro from Ekeremor Constituency 2, Temple Newman Dickson from Southern Ijaw Constituency 2, Ebitimi Ogoriba from Brass Constituency 2, Werinipre Iniedidie of Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency 2 and Alalibo West from Nembe Constituency 3.

Most of the aspirants described the process of screening and procurement of expression of interest form as peaceful, rancor-free and transparent.
They commended the Party leadership led by the Chairman, Hon. Warman Ogoriba and Governor Douye Diri for adopting the screening method.
Manash Ayibapreye, who picked the form to contest the Southern Ijaw Constituency seat in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, told newsmen that the ongoing process is most peaceful and promotes transparency.
