The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State will hold an affirmative congress to elect its state executive members.
Its ward and local government congresses were peaceful, and the executives were elected through affirmation.
Preparations are already in top gear; the venue for the event, the Victor Uwaifo hub, has been decorated.
Delegates from across the 18 local government areas have started arriving in Benin City.

Senator Adams Oshiomhole, Gen. Charles Airhiavbere, and other dignitaries have arrived in Edo State to participate in the Congress.
Acting Chairman of the Edo APC, Jarret Tenebe, said adequate preparations have been made for the party to have a peaceful Congress.
It was gathered that the party leaders agreed to return Tenebe as the substantive Chairman of the party.
