Ahead of its National Convention slated for March 27 and 28, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to hold its state congresses tomorrow, March 3.

This is coming on the heels of the successful completion of the ward congresses held on February 28 and local government congresses, along with the election of three delegates per local government for the National Convention on Saturday, February 21.

The Adjusted APC 2026 Schedule of Nationwide Congresses, National Convention and Related Activities, signed by the party’s National Organizing Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, showed that the state congresses are slated to hold tomorrow, March 3, while the appeal arising from the congresses will be heard on Wednesday, March 4.

Purchase and submission of form for the Zonal Congresses and the National Convention are to be held between Thursday, March 13, and Monday, March 16.

The party has also fixed the inauguration of zonal Congresses Screening/Screening Appeal Committees, Zonal Congresses and Zonal Congresses Appeal Committees and National Convention Screening/Screening Appeal Committees for Monday, March 23.

The screening of aspirants for Zonal Congresses and the National Convention is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, March 24, while the Zonal Congresses will be held on Wednesday, March 25.

In the noticed by the National Organising Secretary, Ibadan will host the Southwest Zonal Congress, Enugu will host that of the Southeast Zonal Congress, and Rivers/Cross River states are to co-host the Southsouth Zonal Congress.

The Zonal Congress for the Northwest will be held in Kaduna, while Gombe/Bauchi states will co-host the Northeast Zonal Congress, and Nasarawa State will host the Northcentral zone.

The party has fixed Thursday, March 26 to entertain any appeal from the Zonal Congresses.

The party’s National Convention is slated for Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28, in Abuja.
