In a strategic move to deepen grassroots political participation, a pro-President Bola Ahmed Tinubu group, the Renewed Hope Women’s Network (RHWN) has launched a nationwide initiative aimed at empowering women and mobilising voters ahead of future democratic cycles.
The Convener of the network, Hon. Joyce Viyanto Antonza Ibrahim, unveiled the programme under the theme: “Empowering Communities, Mobilizing Voters, Strengthening Democracy" at a press conference in Abuja on Saturday.

Ibrahim, who is also the APC Professional Women Leader for the Ireland Chapter, said the initiative is designed to align with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritises inclusive governance and citizen engagement.
She noted that her transition from the diaspora to grassroots mobilisation is a personal commitment to national development.

"This initiative bridges diaspora experience with grassroots action, mobilises women, strengthens political participation, and supports effective delivery of the Renewed Hope Agenda across communities," Ibrahim stated.
She noted that the Network is envisioned as a structured, nationwide framework to be replicated across all 36 states. Its primary goal is to transform women into "trusted voices and change agents" within their respective localities.

"I urge you to embrace this initiative—not only as a political programme, but as a movement for empowerment, inclusion, and sustainable progress," she said. "Let us ensure every polling unit becomes a center of awareness, participation, and mobilisation."
The Convener paid tribute to several high-profile mentors and collaborators, specifically commending the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her "unwavering advocacy for women’s empowerment," and Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa for her work in connecting Nigerians in the diaspora to national development goals.
She also recognised the contributions of Hon. Tunde Doherty, Chairman of the APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen, and local leaders for their commitment to people-centered governance.
The Renewed Hope Women’s Network aims to create a coordinated system where socio-economic development goes hand-in-hand with voter education. By activating women at the ward and polling unit levels, the movement seeks to ensure that no community is left behind in the country's democratic evolution.
