Singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, is set to release his fourth studio album, M$NEY, on May 1.
Asake announced the date on Instagram, posting a video of a stone carver working on what appears to be the album’s cover art.
The 13-track project is his first full-length release under his independent imprint.
The album includes previously released singles “Why Love,” “Badman Gangster” featuring Tiakola, and “Worship” with DJ Snake.
M$NEY is expected to blend Fuji-inspired vocals, Amapiano rhythms, and Afrobeats.
M$NEY marks Asake’s fourth studio album in four years since his 2022 debut.
Asake entered the mainstream with the 2020 single “Lady.” He has since become one of Afrobeats’ most-streamed artists.
His debut album, Mr Money With The Vibe (2022), was a commercial success and established his mix of Fuji-inspired vocals, street-hop, and Amapiano.

He released Work of Art in 2023. The album produced “Lonely At The Top” and other international singles.
'Work of Art' returned to number one on the Spotify Nigeria Weekly Top Albums chart in its 146th week.
His 2024 third album, Lungu Boy, featured international collaborations and set a Spotify record for first-day streams by a Nigerian album.
Asake has also earned international recognition, receiving a nomination for Best African Music Performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
