A House of Representatives aspirant for Buruku Federal Constituency in Benue State, Alex Addingi, has donated 1,000 oil palm seedlings to journalists.

The donation was made during his visit to the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) House in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, where he expressed his intention to seek election to represent the Buruku Federal Constituency.

Addingi stated that if properly nurtured, the palm trees would mature into a lucrative venture within three years, potentially generating significant revenue for the state.

He urged journalists to raise awareness about the palm oil revolution and encouraged them to support the initiative.

Chairman of the Benue NUJ, Comrade Bemdoo Ugbe, commended Addingi for his gesture and appreciated his decision to engage with journalists before pursuing his electoral aspirations.
