Leaders of major opposition parties are currently in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, for a national summit bringing together key political figures across party lines.

The event, holding at the Banque Hall of the Oyo State Government, has in attendance prominent leaders including Atiku Abubakar, Seyi Makinde, David Mark, Peter Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and Rauf Aregbesola.

Other notable participants include Jerry Gana, Pat Utomi, Aminu Tambuwal, Rotimi Amaechi, Kashim Ibrahim Imam, Abdulfatai Ahmed, and Babangida Aliyu, among others.

Political parties represented at the summit include the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Labour Party Nigeria (LP), Accord Party Nigeria, National Democratic Coalition (NDC), Action Peoples Party (APP), and Allied Peoples Movement (APM).

Others in attendance include the Action Alliance (AA), Democratic Labour Party Nigeria (DLA), Young Progressives Party (YP), Action Democratic Party Nigeria (ADP), and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).

The summit is being coordinated by an organising committee co-chaired by Jerry Gana and Kashim Ibrahim Imam.
