Azuka Moweta releases new song, hails Zeal Onyia

The crown prince of Ekobe Music, Azuka Moweta and his Anioma Brothers Band of Africa have just released another album entitled ‘Kenechukwu.’
This comes about a year after the release of ‘Ekobe Global,’ which became a mincemeat for international rockers of African sound globally, including in Europe and the Americas.

The new album of vintage seven tracks of fusion of Ekobe Asaba sound with regular highlife sound, such as ‘Kenechukwu,’ ‘Izunwanne ka,’ ‘Odogwu Ahaba,’ ‘Onye Zusia,’ which is a tribute to the famous Trumpeter Zeal Onyia.
The album also contains ‘Ndi Di Mma,’ ‘Ogalanya sound system,’ an instrumental and ‘Nyem Nkem.’
Aside paying glowing tribute to his compatriot and ace Trumpeter, Zeal Onyia, Moweta also eulogised Asagba of Asaba, HRM Epiphany Azinge and the late Chief Obi Nwanze Oduah (Odogwu Ahaba) making ‘Kenechukwu’ an album of gratitude to God and tributes to good people.

It is also seen as one of the most celebrated albums of Asaba, especially during this period of social activities in the Delta state capital.

As usual, Odogwu Entertainment and Palenque Records, Executive producers of the new album, seemed to have left no stones unturned to deliver what many consider the best sound of the year, with direct impact on the people as well as filling the dancehall spirit of diaspora people.
Nnamdi Moweta, Founder and head at Odogwu Entertainment, producers of Osita Osadebe's groundbreaking ‘Kedu America’ said, "Azuka has worked so hard since the release of the last album to make this new body of work possible. For the first time, Ekobe music by Azuka Moweta has a brass section of horns included. I dare say that this is vintage and promises to make a huge social impact.”
On his part, Lucas Da Silva of Palenque Records said, "We are happy for the relationship we have with Odogwu, which helps us discover hidden African talents and showcase them through Album recording and marketing.”
Kenechukwu Ibedu, creative Director at Odogwu Entertainment, who supervised the production and was also the Artiste & Repertoire (A&R), hinted that Kenechukwu is a masterpiece of a production.
