The newly constructed administrative complex of the Benue State Education Quality Assurance and Examination Board (BEQAEB) has been inaugurated.
A representative of the Benue State Governor, the Principal Private Secretary (PPS), Chief Emmanuel Chenge, commended the leadership of the board and state government for prioritising infrastructure that supports quality education.

While commending the Executive Secretary (ES) of the board, Dr. Terna Francis, Chenge noted that the new facility would strengthen the board’s capacity to regulate standards.
Delivering a goodwill message on behalf of the Commissioner for Education and Knowledge Management, a Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Mrs. Helen Nambativ, described the project as a milestone in the state’s efforts to reposition the sector.
She reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to supporting BEQAEB in ensuring accountability, transparency, and improved learning outcomes in schools. She described the ES as a resilient, hardworking and transformative leader.

Also, Francis expressed appreciation to Governor Hyacinth Iornem Alia for providing a modern administrative environment for the board.

He stated that the new complex would enhance staff productivity, improve record-keeping systems, and facilitate more efficient coordination of quality assurance.
The dedication Mass, held within the premises of the complex, was officiated by Rev. Fr. Clement Ugoh and Rev. Fr. Mfa Ukeyima, who offered prayers and blessings for the building, its staff, and the future of education in the state.
Delivering the homily, Rev. Fr. Clement Ugoh emphasised the importance of integrity, transparency, and diligence in public service.
He urged staff members of the board to carry out their responsibilities with a sense of accountability to God and society, stressing that ethical conduct and unity among leadership were essential to achieving lasting impact in the education sector.
The new complex comprises 72 ultra-modern offices, permanent internet connectivity, and 24-hour electricity.
