The training will also feature an impressive lineup of accomplished industry professionals, including Jide Awobona, Sanjo Adegoke, Tunde Olaoye, and Praide Gina. The facilitators are expected to provide hands-on guidance across key areas such as acting, directing, scriptwriting, production, and other critical aspects of filmmaking.
Speaking on the initiative, organisers noted that the programme is part of BON Awards’ continued commitment to grassroots talent discovery and development, particularly among young people who possess the passion for storytelling but lack access to structured training and mentorship.
“This initiative is about creating opportunities for young people in Odi Olowo to find expression through Nollywood. We are not just training them; we are helping them build a future within the creative industry,” the organisers stated.
Participants will benefit from direct interactions with industry experts, practical sessions, and exposure to real-world filmmaking processes, positioning them for opportunities within Nollywood and beyond.
