Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Anambra state, Rt Rev Samuel Ezeofor has urged Christians to ensure what they engage themselves in is intandem with their faith to avoid contradicting the essence and true meaning of Easter.

He warned that Easter has no connection with masquerading, stressing that such act was never part of Christian celebration.

Delivering his Easter message at the chapel of Grace Bishops court Ekwulobia, the Bishop maintained that masquerading is part of forces of darkness Jesus Christ came to deliver Christians from.

Ezeofor who doubles as the National Chairman, Evangelical Fellowship in the Anglican communion (EFAC), described Easter as a time of joy and victory, saying Christ became victorious after going through series of battles with Satan, sin and all sorts of tribulations.

He challenged Christians to live above sin in order to inherit the kingdom of God, urging them to make Easter celebration a reality by showing victory of Christ resurrection through the way they live their life.

He also enjoined them to remember the needy and less privileged around them to give them sense of belonging.
