Victor Boniface is closing in on a return to action following a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to a serious knee injury.
The Nigerian forward, currently on loan at Werder Bremen from Bayer Leverkusen, had initially been ruled out for the remainder of the Bundesliga season after undergoing surgery.
However, recent reports indicate a positive shift in his recovery timeline. The 25-year-old is expected to resume individual training soon as he begins the final phase of rehabilitation.

Boniface will gradually rebuild his fitness and match sharpness, with medical staff closely monitoring his progress. If recovery continues without setbacks, he could make cameo appearances before the end of April.
His potential return would provide a timely boost for Werder Bremen, who are currently dealing with limited attacking options due to injuries within the squad.
For Boniface, the focus remains on regaining full fitness and confidence as he looks to re-establish himself both at club level and in the national team setup.
