When a starter goes, he goes to learn. The period of learning is over. We are in a period where we have to have a ranking Senator,” he told party stakeholders.
He added:"Each of the senatorial districts competes against one another. We are shortchanging ourselves in Edo South. Edo North is sending its Senator back to rank. Edo Central is sending its Senator back to rank and Edo South wants to send a fresher. He will just be on the sideline and watch things happen and cannot influence it.
“ It is in our own interest for me to return. You cannot go to the Senate and not say you do not know Neda Imasuen. I have had national exposure. Going back to rank is an added advantage. Let us put sentiment aside and do things that will benefit us. The only thing is to send Senator Imasuen back to rank.”
