The BTO Unit-to-Unit for Tinubu movement has inaugurated ward and unit coordinators across Akoko North East and Akoko North West Federal Constituencies in Ikare-Akoko, Ondo State, as part of early preparations for the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration ceremony, held on Tuesday, April 21, attracted political figures and party stakeholders from across the Akoko region. Organizers described the exercise as a strategic move to strengthen grassroots mobilization for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the next electoral cycle.
Speaking at the event, the Director General of the movement, Hon. Bankole Mohammed, popularly known as Bankycare, set a target of securing at least 90 percent of the votes in Ondo State for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
He recalled a similar commitment made during the last Ondo State governorship election campaign, where the movement promoted the “18 zero” strategy, aimed at delivering all 18 local government areas to the APC—a target that was ultimately achieved.

Bankole urged the newly inaugurated coordinators to focus on unit-level mobilization by identifying strongholds, addressing weak areas, and prioritizing reconciliation among aggrieved party members to consolidate party support.
He also called on Nigerians to sustain support for the Tinubu administration's Renewed Hope Agenda, citing its stated contributions to the economy, education, infrastructure, and Nigeria's international standing, while also acknowledging ongoing reforms within the Federal Ministry of Interior.
The Director General further expressed appreciation to the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, crediting him with a significant role in supporting and financing the BTO initiative across all nine federal constituencies in Ondo State.
Speaking at the event, Pastor Ishola Moshood, a former State Treasurer who represented stakeholders from Akoko North East, told the newly inaugurated coordinators that unit-level party structures remained the backbone of electoral success, stressing that no victory could be achieved without proper organization from the grassroots.
Other notable attendees included Hon. Awe Azeez, Hon. Ayegbusi Abacha, and Madam Shayos Mother, a prominent women mobilizer in Akoko North East, whose presence was seen by organizers as a reflection of growing unity within APC ranks in the constituency.
As part of the inauguration, campaign materials, including branded caps, T-shirts, cash gifts, and other mobilization items, were distributed across all 329 polling units in the constituency.
