Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk has suggested Victor Osimhen could return to action earlier than anticipated, possibly for the Turkish Super Lig fixture against Gençlerbirliği on 18 April.
Osimhen had been expected to return for the high-profile derby against Fenerbahçe on 26 April, but Buruk indicated the Super Eagles striker may be available sooner if his recovery progresses well.

"Victor Osimhen might be in the squad for the Gençlerbirliği match if conditions permit. Perhaps against Fenerbahçe, we might use him as well. We'll see how things go," the coach said.
Galatasaray's update on Osimhen comes on the back of a 3-1 victory over Göztepe that moved the Istanbul club four points clear at the top of the Super Lig.
