CAC applauds Senator Ida's appointment as board chairman

The Registrar-General/CEO Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment of Senator Dr. Ibrahim Ida as Board Chairman of the commission.

The Registrar-General/CEO Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment of Senator Dr. Ibrahim Ida as Board Chairman of the commission.

Magaji described the appointment as well deserved, considering Senator Ida’s wealth of experience in both public and private sectors of the economy, stating that the Commission will benefit from his knowledge and wealth of experience.

Born on 15th January 1949, Ibrahim M. Ida was a Senator for Katsina Central constituency. Ida obtained an AIB in London in 1977 and an MSc in Banking & Finance from the University of Ibadan in 1983. A seasoned entrepreneur and technocrat also holds an LLB from the University of Abuja.

The new CAC Chair is a former Commissioner of Finance in Katsina State and a retired Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil Service.
