Lagos State has inaugurated 31 executives of Grassroots Advocacy for Tinubu 2027 to strengthen grassroots mobilisation in support of the President in 2027.

The event, hosted by Coordinator, Mrs. Badmus Enitan, in Ikeja, gathered stakeholders, party loyalists, and supporters.

With the motto: “Forward Together with PBAT,” it welcomed national and Southwest coordinators to Lagos State.

Mrs. Enitan noted importance of grassroots mobilisation in strengthening democratic participation and consolidating support for President Bola Tinubu.

She said the initiative to support the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, noting the executives would coordinate activities at communities, engaging stakeholders, and promote its objectives in Lagos.

The coordinator urged residents to support the President.

“I want people to come out in a massive way to support the movement. I want a positive response from communities, societies, friends, families, and well-wishers, to mobilise more people for Mr. President in 2027,” she noted.

National Organising Secretary, Dr. Michael Ugah, listed Tinubu’s achievements and need for his re-election. He cited, among others, NELFUND student loan, reduction in food prices, and subsidy removal.

“The President is working. He has not even completed three years, yet we have such achievements. When he is re-elected, there will be stability in every sector,” he said.

Zonal Coordinator for Southwest, Abayomi Johnson, said the executives should be ensuring grassroots education, empowerment, and endorsement for re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Johnson urged Nigerians in the diaspora and at home to always pray for the country.

He said the moment presents opportunity for Nigerians globally. He urged those in the diaspora to project positive narratives about Nigeria and refrain from spreading negativity.

“This is our home. Whenever we wake up, let’s emulate other countries by saying, God bless Nigeria. We should stop raining curses on our country. This is our home, and there is no other place to call home. Together, we can achieve it. The President cannot do it alone.”

“I appeal to our governors. They should do the needful. The President is trying his best by providing allocations and entitlements to make their people happy.’’

‘‘They should stop taking public funds abroad.

“Some of the money, even from past administrations, should be used to create companies, attract investors, and generate jobs. If there are enough jobs and infrastructure in Nigeria, fewer people will be traveling abroad,” he said.
