A prominent cleric, Pastor Isaiah Alade, popularly known as Omo Wooli, has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for what he described as people-oriented programmes and projects executed across Oyo State.

Alade said the governor had laid a firm foundation for sustained development, noting that the administration’s interventions were structured to deliver long-term benefits to residents.

He spoke in Ibadan during activities marking the 18th anniversary of the church programme, tagged "Mercy Once Again."

The cleric, who serves as District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Prayer Mountain of Mercy (Ori Oke Aanu), Ibadan, stated that the Makinde administration had recorded notable achievements across key sectors of the state’s economy.

He cited the construction of ultra-modern shops at Bodija Market, which were allocated to traders free of charge, as one of the administration’s landmark initiatives.

“All the transformative projects by Governor Makinde across the state are designed to outlive his administration, where all the citizens will benefit in one way or another,” Alade said.

The cleric urged the governor to remain committed to development initiatives that deliver tangible dividends of democracy to residents. He also prayed for divine wisdom to guide Makinde in the state's continued leadership.

Alade further called on residents to pray consistently for political office holders to ensure the sustainability of good governance and people-centred policies.

Other ministers who participated in prayers and worship at the event included the founder of Ori Oke Aanu, Prophet Moses AladeOlu; Pastor Paul Oyeranmi; Prophet Wumi Jesuyimika; Pastor Soladoye; Lady Evangelist Bose Adeiwa; and the choir of CAC, Prayer Mountain of Mercy.
