Club district holds region conference
Lions International District 404-B2 Region 2 has held its Region Conference in Ikeja, Lagos. The event brought together top Lions officials, club presidents and members from zones 2A and 2B.

Lions International District 404-B2 Region 2 has held its Region Conference in Ikeja, Lagos.
The event brought together top Lions officials, club presidents and members from zones 2A and 2B.
The conference welcomed Oluwakemi Eribake, District Governor 404-B2 Nigeria (2025/2026 Lions Service Year), with the Region Chairperson, Ololade Adewunmi.
Also in attendance were dignitaries, including the zone chairpersons: Abdul Hakeem Salman, NLCF, Zone 2A Chairperson, and Albert Atunnise, NLCF, Zone 2B Chairperson. Club Presidents present from Zone 2A (Lagos Cupid Lions Clubs) included: Adekunle Raji, NLCF, President, Ilupeju Lions Club; Jumoke Idowu-Yekeen, NLCF, President, Lagos Central Lions Club; and Kadri Mulero Ganiyu, NLCF, President, Lagos Integrity Lions Club.

From Zone 2B (Lagos Royal Lions Club), attending presidents included: Olawale Okuyedi, NLCF, President, Maryland Lions Club; Gbaiye Olubimpe, NLCF, President, Ikeja Platinum Lions Club; and Joan Yishawu, NLCF, President, Lagos Supreme Lions Club.
The programme featured a activities, including a call to order, National Anthem, Lions Invocation and introduction of dignitaries. Followed by the welcome address delivered by the Region Chairperson, Ololade Adewunmi, NLCF, and opening remarks by the Director General.
The District Governor thereafter conducted an appraisal of the zones, alongside other senior members of the high table, highlighting performance, service impact and areas for improvement. The conference also featured an interactive session, presentation of gifts and concluded with closing remarks. The event reinforced the commitment of Lions International District 404-B2 Region 2 to service, leadership development and community impact across Lagos State.
