The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State has elected its party Executives in the 18 local government areas of the state.

It was an affirmative congress as party members voted in support of the leaders agreed upon through a consensus arrangement.

The local government congresses were monitored by party leaders led by the state Acting Chairman, Emperor Jarret Tenebe.

Tenebe, who spoke at a press briefing after the congresses, charged the party leaders to work tirelessly to ensure the Renewed Hope agenda of Mr. President is reinvigorated and calibrated in all the nooks and crannies of Edo state.

He cautioned that the joy could be short-lived if it does not resonate in the electoral outcomes of next year's general elections.

"The unprecedented development in Edo as being championed by our ever resourceful and dynamic Governor, Distinguished senator Monday okpebholohas put Edo state in a position of a classic model for others to emulate.

"I sincerely thank our members across the state for the high level of discipline, maturity, unity, conviviality and above all, the show of unflinching support for our leadership which helped consolidate and strengthen our common resolve for a well-articulated internal structure; an antidote of a progressive political development modeled to help reshaped our political destiny."

Chairman of the Edo LG and Ward Congresses, Kabiru Ajana, said the congresses were hitch free.
