Veteran actor Chiwetalu Agu has advised financially struggling men to avoid getting women pregnant, citing Nigeria’s worsening economic conditions.

In an Instagram video, Agu highlighted soaring costs of diapers, school fees, fuel, and basic commodities, urging men to consider their financial readiness before taking on parental responsibilities.

He warned that those who ignore his advice will face greater hardship, noting that they could “cry more than the baby” when confronted with the realities of raising a child.

“Pampers prices are increasing, school fees are rising, fuel prices are increasing, and even the cost of commodities keeps going up, yet you have nothing, and you’re still getting a woman pregnant, you’ll definitely cry more than that baby.

"You no guild you no get shiii shiii, and you dey release inside a woman, continue enjoyment wan finish you, but you will cry more than the baby when the time to chest the billing comes”, he said.
