“The library will be beneficial to students during long holidays by providing access to books and study materials.

“Although the council is making progress in other sectors such as health care, security and infrastructure, education remains our top priority.”

Ofobuike said the council had renovated Nkpologwu community library as part of efforts to strengthen learning infrastructure in the area. Director, Anambra State Library Services, Mrs Obioma Obalum, described the project as a positive step toward community development.

Expressing optimism of immense benefits the library would be to students, researchers and residents, she urged them to take full advantage of the facility when completed.
