The Creek to Creek Movement has officially debunked alleged impersonator, Mr. Francis Enohor claiming to be the spokesperson in its internal and external operations in the leadership of the group.
In a statement by the Director General, Creek to Creek Movement, High Chief Mike Ayapaye had clarified its position on the current pipeline surveillance contract managed by Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, giving unwavering support for the ongoing security operations.
The Director General, High Chief Ayapaye said the communiqué is to address the activities of one Comrade Francis Enohor, who has been recently alleged to be parading himself as the official spokesperson of the Creek to Creek movement.
He pointed out that the movement has dissociated itself from Mr. Francis Enohor, stating that he is not a member of the group and has never been granted any authority to speak on its behalf, saying that upon this any statements credited to him are false and misleading.
The Creek to Creek Movement cautioned the general public and stakeholders within the energy sector to disregard any claims or positions previously attributed to the movement through this individual as a direct threat to the movement's reputation.

The group has called on regional security agencies to intervene. And also requesting an immediate and thorough investigation into the matter to ensure that the individual is held accountable for the alleged impersonation, seeking to prevent further misinformation from reaching the public domain.
Beyond law enforcement involvement, the movement confirmed that it has already briefed its legal team to initiate formal proceedings.
These necessary legal steps are intended to address the specific acts of impersonation and to establish a legal barrier against future unauthorised representations of the group's executive council.
The organisation utilised this platform to pivot back to its core advocacy, emphasising that its primary focus remains the promotion of peace, security, and socio-economic development within the Niger Delta communities.
They noted that the pipeline surveillance initiatives currently in place are vital to maintaining the stability of the region's critical infrastructure.
This move is seen by many analysts as a strategic effort to maintain a unified front during a period of heightened sensitivity regarding oil and gas infrastructure protection.
