Custodian Investment Plc recorded 155 per cent growth in total assets to push its balance sheet size above N1 trillion in 2025 as the investment holding group continued to diversify its businesses.

Key extracts of the audited report and accounts of Custodian Investment for the year ended December 31, 2025 showed that the group rode on the back of recent acquisition and further diversification of its businesses to grow assets base from N416 billion in 2024 to N1 trillion in 2025. Total equity funds had increased by 53 per cent to N199 billion in 2025.

The report indicated appreciable growth across key financial indicators, with gross revenue rising by 48 per cent from N152 billion to N225 billion. Profit before tax increased by 24 per cent to N77 billion in 2025 from N62 billion in 2024. After taxes, net profit rose by 24 per cent from N55 billion to N68 billion. Earnings per share consequently increased from N8.89 in 2024 to N11.19 in 2025.

Group Managing Director, Custodian Investment Plc, Mr. Wole Oshin, explained that that the group recorded strong growth in its core insurance business, with insurance service revenue increasing from N96 billion to N141 billion, driven by improved underwriting performance and expanded distribution capabilities.

He said: “Our 2025 performance reflects disciplined execution, the resilience of our business model, and our deliberate expansion into high-growth financial segments”.
