Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Delta Central Senator, Ede Dafinone; House of Representatives member, Francis Waive Chief Judges of Delta, Bayelsa, and Edo States, Hon. Justices Tessy Diai, Matilda Ayiemieye and Daniel Okungbowa; legal luminary Thompson Okpokpo (SAN) and former Minister of Police Affairs, Broderick Bozimo were among top dignitaries that graced the formal presentation of staff of office to the 14th Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom, His Majesty Eyavwien-Alaka I.

Also in attendance were members of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council led by the chairman, HRM Orhue I, Orodje of Okpe, and vice, HM Kalanama VIII, Pere of Akugbene Mein; industry players, members of the Nigerian Bar Association, as well as the Government College Ughelli Old Boys Association.

The colourful ceremony held on Friday in Otorere-Olomu, Ughelli South Local Government Area.

Presenting the Staff of Office on behalf of the Governor, Deputy Governor Sir Monday Onyeme lauded the impeccable credentials of the monarch, describing him as a distinguished Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Chairman of the Body of Benchers whose experience would enrich the throne.
