‘Call of My Life,’ a romantic comedy directed by Dammy Twitch, will start screening in Nigerian cinemas on May 15, 2026.

Bluhouse Studios made the announcement in a recent statement.

The film follows Soluchi (Uzoamaka Power), a hopeless romantic and call centre agent still carrying the scars of heartbreak after being jilted by her former lover Kalu (Zubby Michael).

But when a routine customer call unexpectedly connects her with the magnetic Eli (Andrew Bunting), Soluchi is drawn into a new possibility that may finally lead her to the love story she has always desired.

The film also features Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwor, Beverly Osu, Justin UG and Broda Shaggi, with live performances by Johnny Drille and Cobhams Asuquo.

‘Call of My Life’ is the first feature film by Dammy Twitch, who has directed videos for leading musicians including Davido, and brands. In 2023, he directed ‘I Hate It Here,’ a short drama about domestic violence.

“My life has been shaped by love, so choosing a romance story for my first film was instinctive. As it’s my first step into feature filmmaking, I wanted it to reflect my heart. And my heart has always been rooted in love and happiness. I hope the movie finds a place in everyone’s heart,” Twitch said when the first trailer was released in February.

The romantic comedy is produced by Blessing Uzzi for Bluhouse Studios, with a screenplay by Uzoamaka Power, who has also written short films, including ‘My Body, God’s Temple.’

‘Call of My Life’ was filmed in Abuja, Enugu and Lagos, and will be distributed by Filmone.
