The Delta State Ministry of Secondary Education has directed all teaching and non-teaching staff in public secondary schools to submit key personal records within 48 hours.

The directive was contained in a circular dated March 24, 2026, and communicated through Chief Inspectors of Education (CIEs) across the state’s field offices.

The Commissioner for Secondary Education, Kingsley Ashibogwu, said the exercise is part of efforts to digitalise staff data and improve administrative efficiency in public post-primary institutions.

According to the circular, all staff are required to submit copies of their letter of first appointment to enable proper verification of employment records.

Employees are also to provide their last three promotion letters and their last three posting letters to ensure accurate documentation of their career progression.

The ministry said the exercise is aimed at strengthening personnel administration and maintaining reliable staff records across the state’s secondary school system.
