Angry commercial drivers have vandalised the office of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ovbiogie Ovbiogie community, Ovia North East local government area.
Vehicles used for rescue operations of the FRSC were also destroyed.
The destruction of the FRSC office and vehicles was occasioned by an accident which led to the death of a driver and an official of the FRSC.
It was gathered that the drivers became peeved after FRSC officials took their seriously injured personnel who was still alive to the hospital and left the driver who died at the scene.
Witnesses said the accident affected both the driver and the FRSC Marshall.
The witnesses said the FRSC rescue team left the driver and took only their personnel, an action, which the witness said, drew ire of drivers and sympathisers.

It was gathered that the accident caused heavy traffic congestion along the busy Benin-Lagos Road.
Edo FRSC Sector Commander, Cyril Matthew, who confirmed the incident, said the injured Marshall later died at the hospital.
Matthew said it was standard practice for accident victims that were still to be rescued first to the hospital before taking the dead to the morgue.
He said the driver died on the spot while the Marshall was still breathing as at the time the rescue team arrived at the scene.
"The team took the injured Marshall to the hospital first because he was still breathing and later returned to take the driver who was already dead.
"The people thought the driver was still alive and accused our men of being insensitive. They, then, attacked our men, as I was told."
Meanwhile the Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed has condemned the mob attack on the corps' personnel and facilities after a crash at the Benin tollgate axis, assuring that those found culpable will be brought to justice in accordance with the law.
The Corps Marshal issued the warning in a statement by the Corps Public Education Officer Assistant Corps Marshal Olusegun Ogungbemide, yesterday.
The Nation reports that a truck driver was killed in a collision involving two trucks along the Benin–Lagos Expressway on Thursday. Personnel of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) were also seriously injured during a rescue operation at the crash scene, and one of the officers later died from injuries sustained in the incident.
The Corps Marshal described the incident as “deeply regrettable and unacceptable", and ordered a comprehensive investigation into the crash as well as the circumstances that led to the mob action.
He thanked the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Police for their swift and decisive intervention during the mob attack.
While condemning the attack on the Corps' personnel and facilities, the FRSC boss reiterated that its operatives were carrying out their lawful duty to save lives when the tragic crash occurred.
The Corps Marshal commiserated with the family of the driver and the fallen officer, and ordered a comprehensive investigation into the crash as well as the circumstances that led to the mob action.
He reaffirmed the Corps' commitment to its mandate of ensuring safer roads for all Nigerians, and called on the public to remain calm, law-abiding, and be supportive of FRSC activities.
