Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has felicitated Christians in Oyo State and beyond on the occasion of Easter, calling on them to embrace its core message of hope, sacrifice and renewal.

Alli, in his Easter message, urged Christians to reflect deeply on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which symbolise victory over sin, selflessness, and the triumph of light over darkness.

He encouraged the faithful to imbibe the virtues of love, humility and compassion as exemplified by Christ, noting that these values remain essential for peaceful coexistence and sustainable development.

Alli also called on leaders at all levels to govern with sincerity, fairness and a genuine commitment to the welfare of the people, in line with the sacrificial leadership demonstrated by Jesus Christ.

He reassured constituents of his continued dedication to quality representation, people-oriented policies, and initiatives that would uplift communities and improve livelihoods across the state.

The senator wished Christians a joyful and peaceful Easter celebration, praying that the season brings renewed faith, divine blessings, and enduring progress to Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
