The acting chairman said the only time he differed with Oshiomhole was during the 2024 governorship party primaries, adding that they later teamed up to campaign together and won the election.
“Anyone saying I have issues with Senator Oshiomhole is telling a lie from the pit of hell. Our congress is coming, and it will be seamless. Immediately after that, there will be a national convention, and the APC will emerge from all of this in flying colours.
“If my closeness to the governor and my commitment to ensuring these promises are fulfilled annoy anyone, they can remain annoyed till thy kingdom come.
“There is nobody who is unhappy with what the governor is doing. That is why I say there are no cracks on the wall.”

Tenebe announced that all the local government chairmen of the Labour Party (LP) and 16 chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had indicated interest to defeat to the APC this week.
The acting APC chairman said the planned defection of the local government chairmen was an indication that opposition political parties in the state have collapsed.
Commenting on Governor Monday Okpebholo’s performance, Tenebe said the governor has been able to bring people together because that was the only way to develop the state.
“Some party members want to create a conflict between the governor and party leaders because division creates camps, and camps create opportunities for personal gain. But the governor is smart and focused. His goal is unity, so that the dividends of democracy can be delivered easily to the Edo people.
“It is not the duty of the ruling party to protect the opposition. It is the responsibility of the opposition to be formidable. The Constitution guarantees freedom of association. If anyone wants to associate with us, we will accept them. I am not bothered, even if all political parties collapse into the APC. If all journalists and even the INEC collapse into APC, I will be happy.”
